The Grand Finale

I feel like I have a learned so much about Photoshop from this assignment. I guess that was the point. Anyway, here is my final book cover. I really like how it turned out, and I really enjoyed the assignment. And now I'm going to go re-read this book....for the 7th time.

Second printout

Guh, sometimes Photoshop is so frustrating! I transferred my book cover photoshop file to Illustrator to do the text, but I didn't save it in photoshop before I did that. So I added the text, but I couldn't fix anything back in photoshop, because all my layers were gone. So frustrating! I thought that it was going to take me forever to re-do the whole thing, but it actually wasn't too bad. Three hours of work, a new background, and a better understanding of photoshop. I think this cover turned out a lot better than the first one. I didn't get all the text on there, and I'm still not one hundred percent on the font. But it's coming along!

Book cover printout

The Scarlet Pimpernel!!!! I am so excited about this, and it's not even close to being done. I've only done the essentials on the back and spine, and the front still needs some tweaking. I have hardly any experience with Photoshop, so it seems so crazy to me that I made that cover. I wanted to post my roughs first so everything would be in order, but I'm just so excited about this that I had to post it right away. This is so fun!
